2025 Round Up

Another year of dolphins, whales, seals and (a lot of) sound is officially in the books, and a new website means our 2025 End of Year Report is (eventually) here!

From tracking killer whales along the Cape coast to training rangers in Kruger to public speaker events, 2025 kept the whole Sea Search team busy in, on and around the water. We clocked 113 hours at sea, uploaded 1,258 recordings spanning 157 species to global sound libraries, and published 12 scientific papers, all fuelled by plenty of coffee.
